In their art, Judith Egger and Oliver Westerbarkey explore the countless manifestations of nature in a playful manner. In their first joint exhibition, they focus on what lies hidden beneath the earth. Through sculptures, drawings, photo installations, and videos, Judith Egger examines what drives the constant cycle of creation and decay in nature. Oliver Westerbarkey’s large-scale dioramas, composed of natural materials, convincingly mimic nature, thereby raising the question of the boundary between nature and art.
